Role Description
In this role, you will help build and expand Conversations to Remember’s online presence by creating engaging content and building connections across social media channels to raise awareness around senior isolation and longevity.
Responsibilities include:
- Helping create and implement social media campaigns.
- Assisting with creating a monthly content calendar.
- Crafting new posts based on the content calendar—this includes creating original graphics and writing captions without the use of AI.
- Performing research to find news relevant to social isolation and loneliness in seniors, and crafting content that invites engagement.
- Creating promotional flyers without the use of AI.
- Opportunity to develop and pitch an intern project to showcase your skills.
Qualifications for social media interns/volunteers:
- Ability to create original graphics for social media without the use of AI for designing.
- Ability to summarize news articles and stories in a few words and pair them with graphics to create visually appealing social media posts and stories.
- Careful attention to detail.
- Strong grammar and editing skills.
- Extensive knowledge/prior use of social media platforms—including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Creative self-starter who takes initiative.
- Experience with basic photo editing and video editing.
- Knowledge of Canva required. Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
All training will be provided.

This is an unpaid internship / volunteer position with a flexible work schedule - minimum of 15 hours per week required, and a minimum of 16 weeks. College credit is available. Position is remote.
