The Conversations to Remember Holiday Fundraiser is underway. This year, it has been moved to November to allow more of our students to participate. Due to the success of last year’s fundraiser, we’ve been able to host hundreds of senior visits each month, more than we’ve ever done. Unfortunately, this doesn’t even begin to address the issue of senior loneliness that exists across the country. We’re reaching out this year to all of our supporters to ask them to make a donation to help the cause.
Honor Someone with a Donation
This year, there is a field on the donation form that allows donors to honor a friend or a loved one who is participating in our program. Show them support with your donation, and we’ll send them a note to inform them. Alternatively, volunteers can honor a senior that they’ve been speaking with or someone who has influenced them in their life.
Alternative Ways to Donate
Our students have spoken, and we’re listening. This year, Conversations to Remember has partnered with Krispy Kreme to offer doughnut gift certificates. Enjoy a tasty treat, while supporting seniors. For the month of November, supporters can purchase non-expiring gift certificates for a dozen donuts for just $15.00 on our website. These can be used as gifts to teachers, friends, or yourself! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Conversations to Remember to aid our efforts to help lonely seniors.
We’re also having a one-day Panda Express fundraiser. On Friday, November 10th, 2023, Conversations to Remember will receive a portion of all proceeds from orders placed online at Panda Express with our special code, 918903. Enjoy a meal – help a senior!
